Continuing from part 1. The Maji Ndogo Water Crisis 2 involves drilling further into towns and provinces and providing the following information with the aid of visualization;
- Map of Provinces in Maji Ndogo.
- The population split between urban and rural.
- Total number of people per source type.
- Total number of each source of water type for every town.
- Count the different sources by type.
- Number of wells and their pollution status
- Overview of crime-related data
The below results were visually observed;
-The population split shows we have more water sources in rural locations, with well water sources being the highest, followed by shared taps.
-The number of water sources was also cascaded across the different towns, showing the number of people per different water source.
-Kilimani town has the highest number of people served by the different water source types.
-In the gender disparity relating to water collectors, we have the female gender as the highest water collector.
The crimes perpetrated against them are also the highest, with harassment being the leading crime, followed by theft and sexual assault.
-The crime rate is highest during the time between 8 pm and 10 pm
